W skrócie

Używaj Future Continuous (will be + -ing) dla czynności, która będzie w trakcie trwania w przyszłym momencie, oraz Future Perfect (will have + past participle) dla czynności, która zostanie zakończona przed pewnym punktem w przyszłości.

Zasada

Te trzy formy pozwalają spojrzeć na przyszłość z bardziej precyzyjnej perspektywy niż zwykłe will.

Future Perfect Continuous	`will have been + verb-ing`	Czas trwania do punktu w przyszłości: In June I’ll have been working* here for ten years.*

Drugie, bardzo częste zastosowanie Future Continuous dotyczy przyszłego wydarzenia postrzeganego jako część normalnego biegu rzeczy — czegoś, co i tak się wydarzy, bez żadnego szczególnego planu ani decyzji: I’ll be seeing her at the meeting anyway, so I can pass on the message.

Future Perfect odpowiada na pytanie „Czy to będzie zrobione do tego czasu?” — patrzymy na to wstecz z punktu położonego dalej w przyszłości. Future Perfect Continuous podkreśla, jak długo dana czynność trwa aż do tego punktu.

Te formy bazują na will (lekcja 19), formie Continuous (lekcja 8) i formie Perfect (lekcja 25). Traktuj je jako poziom powyżej B1 / B2.

Uwaga: forma się nie zmienia po by the time / when / before — użyj w tym zdaniu czasu teraźniejszego, a nie will: By the time you get here…, before the shop closes…

Typowe błędy

By Friday I will read it. -> By Friday I will have read it. — by + punkt w przyszłości wymaga Future Perfect, a nie zwykłego will.
This time tomorrow I will fly to Rome. -> This time tomorrow I will be flying to Rome. — czynność w trakcie w przyszłym momencie wymaga formy Continuous.
In June I will work here for ten years. -> In June I will have been working here for ten years. — czas trwania do punktu w przyszłości wymaga will have been + -ing.
By the time you will arrive, we’ll have left. -> By the time you arrive, we’ll have left. — użyj czasu teraźniejszego w zdaniu czasowym po by the time, before, when, nigdy will.
I will have finish it. -> I will have finished it. — Future Perfect używa imiesłowu biernego, a nie formy podstawowej.

Wskazówki

Widzisz by (termin ostateczny) -> pomyśl Future Perfect: „zrobione przed tym czasem”.
Widzisz godzinę zegarową lub this time tomorrow -> pomyśl Future Continuous: „w środku tego wtedy”.
will be -ing może brzmieć grzeczniej/bardziej neutralnie niż will: Will you be joining us? pyta o plany bez naciskania.
Po spójniku czasowym — when, by the time, as soon as, before, until — pomiń will i użyj czasu teraźniejszego: When you finish, call me.
