C1 Inversion after negative adverbials 48 / 50

Never have I seen such a mess.

I have never seen this.

Never have I seen such a mess. (Never I have seen

  • 조동사가 없으면 (의문문에서처럼) do / does / did을 넣으세요: Rarely does he complain.
Little did they know…

English참고
Never have I felt so welcome anywhere.never 앞으로 -> have + 주어로 도치; 강조적.
Rarely does a film move me to tears.
Hardly had the train left when I realised my bag was gone.
No sooner had she spoken than the room fell silent.no sooner … than를 짝으로 쓰세요(… when은 절대 안 됨).
Not only did they win, but they also broke the record. Not only … but also는 두 번째 사실을 덧붙이며 강조합니다.
Only after the meeting did we learn the truth.
Had I known about the strike, I’d have driven.If이 없는 3형 조건문; Had가 if I had를 대신합니다.
Should you change your mind, just call me. Should = if you happen to.

  • Never I have seen this. -> Never have I seen this.
  • Rarely he eats meat. -> Rarely does he eat meat.
  • No sooner I arrived when… -> No sooner had I arrived than…
  • Only then I realised. -> Only then did I realise.
  • Here comes she. -> Here she comes. —

-> “Never have I…”
  • hardly/scarcely 뒤에는 when을, no sooner 뒤에는 than를 쓰세요.
