Futuro continuo y futuro perfecto

B1 Future continuous & future perfect 41 / 50

FormaEstructuraSignificado
Futuro continuowill be + verb-ingEn curso en un momento futuro: This time tomorrow I’ll be flying to Tokyo.
Futuro perfectowill have + past participleTerminada antes de un punto futuro: By 2030 they will have finished the bridge.
Futuro perfecto continuowill have been + verb-ingDuración hasta un punto futuro: In June I’ll have been working here for ten years.

I’ll be seeing her at the meeting anyway, so I can pass on the message.

Errores frecuentes

  • By Friday I will read it. -> By Friday I will have read it. — by + un punto futuro necesita el futuro perfecto, no el simple will.
  • This time tomorrow I will fly to Rome. -> This time tomorrow I will be flying to Rome.
  • In June I will work here for ten years. -> In June I will have been working here for ten years. — la duración hasta un punto futuro necesita will have been + -ing.
  • By the time you will arrive, we’ll have left. -> By the time you arrive, we’ll have left. — usa un tiempo presente en la oración temporal después de by the time, before, when, nunca will.
  • I will have finish it. -> I will have finished it.

  • will be -ing puede sonar más educado/neutro que will: Will you be joining us? pregunta por planes sin presionar.
  • Después de una conjunción temporal — when, by the time, as soon as, before, until — omite will y usa el presente: When you finish, call me.
